6 Year Old Boy and His Grandmother Injured While Waiting for School Bus

Last Friday a 6 year old boy and his grandmother were waiting for a school bus on Mill Street in New Castle.  While they were waiting a driver who has been identified as Samuel Abraham allegedly lost control of his car and hit them where they were standing on the sidewalk.  What caused Mr. Abraham to lose control and hit the young boy and his grandmother remains under investigation.

Both the child and the grandmother were taken to Jamison Hospital.  The boy was later transferred to a Pittsburgh hospital.  There is no word yet on the conditions or the identities of the victims of this Pennsylvania pedestrian accident.
