4 Children and an Adult Flown to Hospital After Perry County Crash

At about 7 p.m. Sunday evening, a 17 year old girl was driving south on Route 34 in Carroll Township when her car drifted to the side of the roadway.  As she tried to bring the car back on to the road, she hit a car in the northbound lane driven by 30 year old Jeremy Ritchie.

Both drivers and all three juvenile passengers in Mr. Ritchie’s car were injured and all five had to be flown to Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Mr. Ritchie was reported to be in fair condition on Monday.  His three passengers are believed to be ages 17, 6 and 7 months.  Their identities and conditions have not yet been released.

The cause of this serious Perry County car accident remains under investigation.
