6 Injured in Accident Near Schuylkill County Strip Mall

On Monday afternoon a van and a car were involved in a serious crash on Route 309 in Schuylkill County,  At approximately 2:30 on June 7, 2010 a van was heading north on Route 309 and hit a car that was leaving a strip mall.

6 people were injured in the accident and 3 of them suffered serious injuries.  According to the Police in West Penn Township, at least two people were ejected from the van.  Their injuries are believed to be critical.  Both of the people ejected from the van and another person who was in the van were flown to trauma centers.  Two men in the car and a woman from another car were taken to another hospital for treatment.

The cause of this Pennsylvania car crash remains under investigation.
