Earlier this week a 63 year old man was hit by a taxi cub as he walked across Cameron Street in Harrisburg.
According to police, the cab was driving northbound on Cameron Street around 11 a.m. on June 8, 2010. The cab driver saw the man crossing the road and anticipated that the man would stop. Apparently, the man assumed the cab would stop because he kept walking. Neither the cab driver nor the pedestrian correctly anticipated the actions of the other and the cab hit the man.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of a head injury. Police are still investigating this Pennsylvania pedestrian accident.
