An 11 year old boy was hurt in a Southwest Philadelphia hit and run accident earlier this month. The accident occurred on Sunday October 2 near 65th Street and Greenway Avenue. The child was skateboarding at the time of the collision.
It is alleged that the female driver of a dark blue or black Mercedes or BMW got out of the car, looked at the child, and then drove away. The boy was taken to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and reported to be in stable condition.
Police are asking anyone with knowledge of this Philadelphia skateboarding accident to contact them.

On Wednesday May 4, a 7 week old baby girl was hit by an SUV and critically injured. The accident occurred at the intersection of Aramingo Avenue and Westmoreland Street in the Port Richmond Section of Philadelphia.
