As of the 2000 Census, Forest County, Pennsylvania was the least populated county in the Commonwealth.  While there has been an upward trend in population and Forest County is the now reported to be the fastest growing County in the Commonwealth, it is still reported to not have a single traffic light.  That does not mean, however, that the roads of Forest County are always safe.  In 2008, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reported 88 accidents, 4 of which were fatal and 49 of which resulted in injuries.
