Child Hurt in Philadelphia School Bus Car Crash

A school bus and a car collided on Thursday morning May 10, 2012 causing one child to be hospitalized. The crash occurred on Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia around 8 a.m. that morning. It is currently unclear whether the child was riding on the bus or in the other vehicle at the time of the accident.

3 Injured When SUV and Bus Collide in Upton

A bus and an SUV collided in Upton last week, sending three people to the hospital. The crash occurred shortly before 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of Birmingham Bridge and Fifth Avenue. The driver of the bus and the driver of the SUV were both taken to UPMC Mercy with injuries. The SUV driver was reported to be in stable condition and the bus driver was reported to have suffered minor injuries. An elderly passenger on the bus was also reported to be have suffered minor injuries.

There is no word yet on what caused this Franklin County accident.

The crash reportedly occurred in the 2700 block of South Market Street. Police report that a white sedan pulled out of Simpson Park into the path of another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle suffered an injury in this Cumberland County car crash.

Police report that the white sedan might have front driver’s side damage to it from the collision.

Two injured in King of Prussia Car Crash

A car and a trash truck collided in King of Prussia on Monday April 30, 2012. The crash occurred around 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of E Dekalb Pike and Saulin Boulevard.

Reports of the accident indicate that two victims each suffered multiple injuries and were admitted to the hospital. They were reported to be in stable condition. There is no word on which vehicle, or vehicles, the injured parties were traveling in or on what caused the accident.

Northampton County Construction Worker Injured by Passing Vehicle

A construction worker working on Route 512 in East Allen Township was reportedly hit by a car on the morning of April 25, 2012. The crash reportedly happened around 10:30 a.m. and Pennsylvania State Police were reportedly investigating the pedestrian vehicle accident.

The person was injured was flown to St. Luke’s Hospital – Fountain Hill for treatment of his accident injuries. His identity and updated condition have not yet been released. Head on Collision Injures Two in Lehigh Township

A car and a pickup truck crashed in Lehigh Township on Wednesday April 25, 2012. The accident occurred on Route 248 around 4:20 p.m. According to accident reports, the car crossed over the center line and collided with the pickup truck. The driver of the car who allegedly crossed the line in this accident was also reported to be in a head one collision two months ago.

Both the driver of the car, 37 year old Tyrone Johnson, and the driver of the pickup, 29 year old Aaron Krause, were airlifted to St. Luke’s Hospital Fountain Hill with serious injuries.

2 Teens Injured in Lehigh County Car Crash

An 18 year old from Coplay was cited by police for traveling at an unreasonable speed after her car flipped over in North Whitehall Township on April 16, 2012. The woman and her teenage passenger were injured in the accident that occurred shortly after 7 p.m. on Orchard Road.
Northern Valley EMS took the driver and passenger to Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. There is no word on their condition.

Police Investigating Possible Distracted Driving Accident

A serious three car crash on Route 366 left an elderly couple in critical condition at na Allegheny General Hospital.

According to police, the driver of a 2004 GMC pickup told police that he was looking for his cell phone when he crossed the center line on Route 366. The elderly couple’s car and another vehicle were traveling in the other lane. Reports indicate that the GMC first sideswiped the other vehicle and then collided head on with the elderly couple’s vehicle.

The two men in the other vehicle and the driver of the GMC were not reported to be seriously injured. Police are still investigating the cause of this Pennsylvania car accident. We wish everyone who was injured a fast and complete recovery.

Does Philly Have Enough Crossing Guards?

On Friday April 13, 2012 a second grade child was hit by a car at an East Germantown corner after school. The accident happened outside the Louis D. Pastorious School at the intersection of Sprague and Woodlawn Streets. The corner reportedly did not have a crossing guard present at the time of the accident.

According to the crossing guards’ union there are 1,037 intersections in Philadelphia where a crossing guard has been determined to be necessary and approximately 120 of those intersections do not have a crossing guard assigned to help children cross safely.

The eight year old girl who was hurt in this Philly car accident was taken to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with non- life threatening injuries. We wish her a full and fast recovery.

At Least One Hurt in Two Car Philly Accident

A serious Philadelphia car accident left at least one person seriously injured on Wednesday April 11, 2012. The crash occurred around 6 p.m. at 71^st Street and Buist Avenue.

There is currently no word on what caused the two car Philadelphia crash. However, it has been reported that one person was ejected from a vehicle during the wreck and that one person was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment after the wreck.
