Two Children Hurt in Weekend Accident

A two car crash in Guilford Township injured two children over the weekend.  The accident occurred on Lincoln Way East when a Honda minivan, driven by 41 year old Kimberly Hanan, was trying to make a left onto Garman Drive.  As Ms. Hanan was trying to make the left turn, her car was hit by a Nissan driven by 21 year old Devon Cosey.

The crash forced Ms. Hanan’s vehicle into a tree.  She was hurt in the accident, as were two children who were in her car.  A 10 year old girl was flown to Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey with serious injuries and an 8 year old passenger suffered minor injuries.  Their names have not yet been released.

This accident also resulted in significant car accident property damage.  The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
